My life is my work

We can’t seem to shake work from our conversations or our minds.

So much of our emotions, energy and subconsciousness is tied up in work or our feelings about it. Our work becomes our identity and embodies how we feel about ourselves.

Job satisfaction = life satisfaction

Job progression = life progression

Lack of work = lack of self

Job parity = relationship parity

Job industry adjacencies = friendship circles

Our job equates to who we are

Retire Early

On the other side of the same coin, there are many movements to pursue financial independence and retire early. Work is the one of the worst burdens laid upon mankind. Toil is full of thistles and thorns.
